Drill Vase Object 1

The Drill Vases is a fusion of chaos and control, embodying improvisation. Inspired by discarded marble fragments from Carrara quarries, designer Erik started collecting these stones.

Using only his hand and hammer in the workshop, Erik energetically shaped the vase bases from the marble, resulting in unpredictable and rough forms. Precision drilling creates openings at the base, where heavy, hand-blown glass vases find their place.

The geometric design of the glass brings order and control, contrasting with the spontaneous nature of the marble, enhancing its raw beauty.

The Drill Vases combine various stone types with mouth-blown glass cylinders.
