About the Artist
Hugh McCarthy is a Melbourne-based sculptor and furniture designer. With ten years of refining his craft and aesthetic in Melbourne and Japan, Hugh designs and creates objects from wood, capturing proportion, functionality, and durability. Every work is hand-crafted in McCarthy’s Melbourne studio, utilising traditional wood joints.

Care Instructions:
Keep dry as often as possible and use a coaster. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Lightly wipe orange oil on all surfaces every six months.
