Milo

With its embracing and flexible form, MILO is a timeless armchair and footstool that becomes a discreet focal point in any room. The armchair comes in three different models with corresponding footstools. The design is characterised by flowing and clear lines, defined soft contours, a seat shell with an iconic shape, and a well-coordinated back curve that gives the furniture a distinct and modern character.

'MILO can be staged in a variety of ways and adapted to different room situations and usage scenarios. They can be used as a piece of furniture for recovery and contemplation – or as a communicative group of armchairs in open office landscapes, hotel lobbies, or lounges,' says Böttcher and Kayser. During the manufacturing process, great emphasis was placed on constructing a piece of furniture that can easily be reused by being able to change the upholstery smoothly when it becomes worn and needs to be replaced. The tightly padded exterior envelops the looser upholstery on the inside and creates a soft appearance that invites you to linger."
