Memoir Pendant 120 / 2

MEMOIR is a product family designed by GamFratesi based on a modern take and interpretation of the classic chandelier. At the heart of the design is the gently shaped opal glass shade that evokes a historical typology and romantic spirit. The linear metal structures compose a graphic outline that connects it in numerous compositions. The simplistic ingenuity of the MEMOIR lighting system bridges decorative details of the past and a sculptural silhouette intended for modern spaces.

As a result of the thickness of the three-layered opalised glass, MEMOIR emits a pleasant and uniform light. With the linear connectors, MEMOIR can fill up a room with a cloud of downward illumination while also establishing an intimate and ambient lighting atmosphere with single ceiling or wall elements. A distinctive and graceful lighting design intended to light up spaces - no matter shape, length, height or size.

GamFratesi

Danish and Italian! The union of the two cultures is a strong element in Gam-Fratesi’s design, prompted by simple everyday situations from their cultures in a fusion of technology, poetry and tradition. Like the Swedese easy chair Cartoon, inspired by the spontaneous expression in children’s drawings, and interesting much because of the meeting between its cartoon-like proportions, the austere Scandinavian style, precise detailing and a traditional high-quality work process.
