Driven by a shared passion for original design, craftsmanship and enduring quality, Fred brings together established design houses and emerging creative voices. From celebrated mid-century classics to progressive contemporary collections, our selection reflects the creativity, character and quiet confidence of Scandinavian design.
More than simply beautiful objects, we believe great design has the ability to enrich the spaces we inhabit. Our longstanding relationships with designers and manufacturers allow us to share their stories, celebrate their craftsmanship and introduce exceptional furniture and lighting to the Australian market.
Working closely with architects, interior designers and private clients, Fred supplies furniture and lighting for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces across Australia. Our approach is personal, considered and informed by a genuine knowledge of the brands and collections we represent.
Located in the creative heart of Surry Hills, our Sydney showroom is housed in a building designed by Smart Design Studio. The space offers a welcoming and ever-evolving expression of the Fred collection, bringing furniture, lighting and objects together in a relaxed, residential setting — an invitation to discover and experience Scandinavian design firsthand.
