Copenhagen’s newest cultural destination, Epicurus, fuses world-class jazz with Michelin-level dining, set within interiors inspired by ancient philosophy and modern craftsmanship.
Designed by GamFratesi, the space takes cues from Epicurus, the Greek philosopher who celebrated pleasure, community, and the art of living. To shape its unique lightscape, GamFratesi collaborated with LYFA on three new designs — RYFF, TOTON, and NOOTE — created specifically for Epicurus and now part of LYFA’s permanent collection.
Each piece balances minimal silhouettes with tactile materiality:
RYFF: sculpted glass echoing the rhythm of music.
TOTON: a commanding pendant defined by quiet elegance.
NOOTE: a portable lamp evoking the intimacy of the jazz era.
We gathered here during #3daysofdesign for a private talk with GamFratesi, exploring how light, music, and gastronomy converge in this extraordinary venue.
Also unveiled: new expressions of LYFA icons — MEMOIR in bronze, FUTÉ as a pendant, TOTON uplight, and PAN in a bold Ø120 size.
