Designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen in the 1950s, The Seal is a timeless example of Danish modern design. Originally created for Swedish manufacturer OPE Möbler, the chair is defined by its elegant proportions, angled timber frame and floating upholstered shell. Reissued by Audo Copenhagen, The Seal is available in both high-back and low-back versions, each balancing lightness, comfort and sculptural form.
The gently reclined seat and armrests are designed for relaxed lounging, while the solid timber frame gives the chair a refined architectural quality. An accompanying ottoman completes the setting and extends the comfort of the design.
