Atticus 09 sled base

Atticus is a versatile seating family inspired by the rounded wings of the North American mockingbird and named after Atticus Finch from Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. Its softly curved shell and subtly embracing armrests create an organic, inviting form designed around comfort.

The extensive collection includes dining and conference chairs, counter and bar stools, and low- and high-back lounge chairs with a choice of swivel, four-leg, timber and sled bases. This flexibility allows Atticus to move easily between workplace, meeting, hospitality and residential interiors.

material

Fully upholstered shell with a moulded polyether seat frame, FSC-certified timber and finished or lacquered metal components.

Metal colours and finishes

Steel frames and metal details are available in 405 finishes as standard: 195 solid RAL colours with a gloss finish, 195 Structure RAL colours with a matte, lightly textured finish, and 15 pearl RAL finishes.

Chrome is available on selected 08 and 09 bases, while polished aluminium is available on the 03 base.

Accessories and options

Available options include connectors for the 09 sled base, wheels for the 03 base in black, white or chrome, felt gliders, and tilt and height adjustment on selected 03 swivel models.

Sustainability

Atticus is designed to be separable. All steel components are recyclable, plastic components can be recycled by grinding, synthetic upholstery and frame materials are produced without CFC emissions, and adhesives are water based.

Fire classification

Atticus meets Möbelfakta fire requirements. Polyether foam is tested to CAL TB 117 and standard upholstery fabrics meet EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2. Additional classifications, including BS 5856 Crib 5, are available on request.
