Duke Dining Chair

Duke is a refined, stackable chair with a clean, graphic silhouette and slender steel frame. Developed as an evolution of Alexander Lervik’s earlier Dandy chair, Duke retains the character of the original while simplifying the construction for a calmer, more timeless expression.

The streamlined construction also makes Duke easier to reupholster, extending the life of the chair and allowing it to adapt to changing interiors over time. Its compact proportions and stackable design make it particularly suited to dining, meeting, hospitality and commercial environments.

FSC-certified timber with polyether foam padding and finished or lacquered metal frame. Duke can be upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics, leather and artificial leather.

The steel frame and metal details are available in 405 finishes as standard, including 195 solid RAL colours, 195 textured RAL colours and 15 pearl finishes, with chrome also available.

Alexander Lervik

Alexander Lervik is one of Swedens most well known designers, collaborating with a number of national and international producers, including Moroso, Zero, Designhouse Stockholm and Johanson. Though his main focus is lighting, furniture and product design, he also creates concepts for hotel and restaurant interiors and collaborate with fashion brands.

 

Throughout the years, Lervik has received a number of awards, amongst them Red Dot award, Best of The Best at 100% design, +1 Best in show at Stockholm Furniture fair, Utmärkt Svensk Form and the prestigious award Design S. he is represented at Nasjonalmuseum in Oslo, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the design museum Rhösska in Gothenburg, Sweden.
