Milo Footstool

Milo is a generously upholstered lounge chair defined by fluid lines, soft contours and a distinctive sculpted seat shell. The relaxed upholstery creates an inviting sense of comfort, balanced by a clear and refined silhouette that gives the chair a strong contemporary character.

Designed by Berlin-based studio Böttcher and Kayser, Milo is equally suited to residential, workplace and hospitality interiors. It can be used as a standalone lounge chair or grouped to create relaxed settings for conversation, meeting and retreat. Removable covers allow the upholstery to be replaced over time, extending the life of the chair.

The collection includes Milo Xlow, Low, High and Wing chairs, together with a coordinating footstool. A choice of three base styles provides further flexibility across different interior settings.

Fully upholstered with a moulded polyether seat frame, FSC-certified timber and finished or lacquered metal components. Steel components contain 20–50% recycled Swedish steel.

Milo can be upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics, leather and artificial leather. Metal bases are available in 405 finishes as standard, including 195 solid RAL colours, 195 textured RAL colours and 15 pearl finishes. Chrome and polished aluminium finishes are also available on selected bases.

Böttcher and Kayser is a Berlin-based studio founded in 2007, working in the fields of consumer product, furniture, lighting and interior design. Moritz Böttcher and Nikolaus Kayser have been rewarded with several prestigious awards such as the Interior Innovation Award, several iF Design Awards and numerous Red Dot Awards – including the award‚ Best of the Best’ in 2013. Their projects have been published in books and magazines around the world.
