Plus 09

The distinctive plus-shaped fasteners on the backrest give Plus its name and strong graphic identity. Designed by Alexander Lervik, the collection was developed with a focus on reducing material use, simplifying production and minimising environmental impact, without compromising the functionality required for commercial interiors.

The lightweight, stackable chair is made from polypropylene and is available with four-leg or sled bases, with or without open armrests. The Plus family also includes counter and bar stools and a coordinating table collection.

Plus 09-46 features a continuous sled base and is available armless or with open armrests. The sled frame gives the chair a slightly wider, more graphic stance while retaining the same compact proportions and stackability.

Plus is available in three upholstery configurations: exposed polypropylene, upholstered seat only, or fully upholstered.

Steel frames and metal details are available in 405 RAL finishes as standard:

195 solid RAL colours with a gloss finish
195 Structure RAL colours with a matte, lightly textured finish
15 pearl RAL finishes

Alexander Lervik

Alexander Lervik is one of Swedens most well known designers, collaborating with a number of national and international producers, including Moroso, Zero, Designhouse Stockholm and Johanson. Though his main focus is lighting, furniture and product design, he also creates concepts for hotel and restaurant interiors and collaborate with fashion brands.

 

Throughout the years, Lervik has received a number of awards, amongst them Red Dot award, Best of The Best at 100% design, +1 Best in show at Stockholm Furniture fair, Utmärkt Svensk Form and the prestigious award Design S. he is represented at Nasjonalmuseum in Oslo, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the design museum Rhösska in Gothenburg, Sweden.
