Repose Pendant

Repose is a new series of opal glass lamps designed to provide a calm atmosphere with its diffused light, graphic expression and soft shapes.

The simplicity and functionality of traditional Japanese hair pins provided a spark of inspiration for the design. Focusing on the balance point that creates a serene and suspended feeling of balance while giving great importance to the smallest detail of the lamp.

As a result of the thickness of the three-layered opalized glass, REPOSE emits a uniform and comfortable lighting experience. The suspension is designed to flush with the top of the glass shade making it invisible to the naked eye. A gap surrounding the suspension in the top allows a small steam of light to illuminate the entire glass shade. REPOSE is a characteristic lighting design on its own or in multiples to create a cloud of luminosity.
Available in 3 different sized pendants and as a table lamp. Each pendant has its own organic shape carefully crafted from mouth-blown, three-layered glass and compimented by either a brass or black metal pin.

Designed by GamFratesi and launched in 2021.

GamFratesi

Danish and Italian! The union of the two cultures is a strong element in Gam-Fratesi’s design, prompted by simple everyday situations from their cultures in a fusion of technology, poetry and tradition. Like the Swedese easy chair Cartoon, inspired by the spontaneous expression in children’s drawings, and interesting much because of the meeting between its cartoon-like proportions, the austere Scandinavian style, precise detailing and a traditional high-quality work process.
