Seppo Koho
Founded by Tuula Jusélius, Secto Design was originally a furniture design company built on values of Scandinavian simplicity and a love for Northern wood. After Tuula and Seppo Koho, the design architect, met in 1995, Seppo was commissioned to design a wooden lamp. This lead to the creation of the Secto Pendant Lamp, a signature style that is still part of the collection today.
When Seppo Koho joined the company and in the early 2000s, Secto Design moved to focus purely on the production of wooden lighting design. The innovative Secto Design lamps were the first to use wood in the crafted and architectural style that is associated with the brand. With a focus on sustainability and quality, Finnish craftsmen make each lampshade by hand with high-grade birch sourced from central Finland. The result is stunning lighting that adds style and ambiance to any space.
